Collection: Southern Tribute
Artist, designer, and sculptor Melissa Dulaney, realized a dream when she launched Southern Tribute in 2020. Melissa’s talents were obvious early on, and after studying art in college she moved to Atlanta to accept a job in jewelry design. This initial career opportunity allowed Melissa to hone her artistic talents in a variety of mediums, and gave birth to the idea that she would one day design her own brand.
In 2005 Melissa returned to her hometown of Charleston, SC where the coastal areas of the low-country, and the charm of life in the South, influenced not only Melissa’s art and passion for product design, but the name of her future brand as well. With years of experience designing for others and a pandemic raging, Melissa knew it was time to bring her own creations to fruition, so she took a leap of faith and introduced Southern Tribute.
Southern Tribute’s initial success has made it possible for the artist to introduce additional products to the line; most recently, these beautiful match strikes, inspired by Victorian era home décor. These beautiful match strikes fit nicely into Southern Tribute’s Luxury Home Collection which celebrates the everyday luxury for which southern homes are known. Available in over 40 different motifs, each designed, hand sculpted, and finished in Charleston by the artist herself, there is a motif to fit any lifestyle or décor. Match strikes are available in tortoise, pearl, and blue finishes
